Hi, I would really like it of you would make as portable version of Greenshot, basically Greenshot is a free screen capture software with advanced features, if you want to check the website then go here: http://getgreenshot.org
Thanks

why not just post the site as http://getgreenshot.org/ ?? I see no need to hide the address unless that google thing that the tinyurl goes to has meaning?

Because I felt like doing that.
Not that my opinion counts for anything But personally I hate re-directs and hidden links, makes me wonder why the link is hidden in the first place

It seems to be written in C#. We don't make .NET-based apps at the moment.
Previously known as kAlug.
Thanks, I had no idea it was written in c#
Greenshot Developer has created a PAF version which can be accessed at http://sourceforge.net/projects/greenshot/files/Greenshot/Greenshot%200....
I've requested he post it to these forums so can get better testing done.

I'd also like to see it in a proper PortableApps format.
I've tried the ZIP Version available at http://getgreenshot.org/version-history/ but if I include it in my PortableApps, the Launcher "hangs" after starting Greenshot until I quit it.
P.S. The above linked PAF Version is no longer available.
The PAF version previously mentioned is still there (not tried yet), but the URL has changed slightly, presumably with the release of v1.0 causing a directory structure re-org:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/greenshot/files/Greenshot/Greenshot%200....
I second the request for a PAF version.
As mentioned above, it requires the .NET framework to run.
As PortableApps does not yet officially release .NET apps, most developers won't touch it.
But, it now has apps like KeePass 2 and Paint.net already released which they require the .NET framework...
You're replying to a 10 year old comment from when we didn't support .net.

Please find the latest release at the following URL directly from the developer.
Scroll down and find the portable version:
https://github.com/greenshot/greenshot/releases/tag/Greenshot-RELEASE-1....
Or just click here:
https://github.com/greenshot/greenshot/releases/download/Greenshot-RELEA...
The above is 1.2.9.104.
As of 2022, the latest is 1.2.10.6 in 2017. There is an official portable version.

However, beta versions exist in 2022. There is no portable version.

I noticed Greenshot has been removed from the PortableApps app page, and doesn't come up in the PAF launcher add apps listing.
I downloaded the Greenshot .paf version from their website and did the "Install new app (paf.exe)" option in the PAF launcher.
I was just wondering if it was removed for a reason - version too old and developers don't seem to support having a .paf version anymore, a disagreement or something else?
Greenshot was never officially released here.
