Cannot update Chrome using Portable App Updater

When Portable App updater tries to update Chrome I get an error message:

Unable to download the file. This could be due to a proxy or network issue or the hosting server not permitting downloads from your location. File:http://portableapps.com/redirect/?s=p8ta= GoopleC hromePortable8td
= sfpa8twv= 10&f= GoopleChromePortable 118.0.5993.118 online.paf.
exe

I have used this app for years on my personal computer and this is the first time I have run into problems.

Can anyone help me? Or a possible workaround?

Thank you.

Working Here

It's working just fine here. Please include additional info like your version of Windows, 32 or 64-bit, the full install path of the PA.c Platform, any antivirus or firewall that may have changed, etc. Also try rebooting just for good measure, please.

Thank you for your response.

Thank you for your response. After some investigation I believe I found the problem. When running the Portable App platform on my IP the Portable App updater does not work for any portable app and I receive the error message as reported. When I switch to a VPN IP I do not experience problems. I have used this platform form many years, so in my view there has been some kind of change to my IP. My ISP is Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Xfinity), Malvern, Pennsylvania. I am wondering if there is something that can be done about this? Thank you.

Email

Please drop an email to the Developers email address on the Contact page in About Us. I'll get it directly. Include what your IP is and I'll look if there are any blocks that may affect it.
