Dear PortableApps.com staff,
I've been checking your thunderbird app page to see the update numbers every day for about 2months using firefox on my computer.
Since the time I posted this onwards, I cannot load the page on any browser on any device, under WIFI, nor cellular network.
I had to use a VPN to access and post this thread on the forum, otherwise I see:
"Sorry, 34.248.174.237 has been banned."
Sometimes the IP addresses shown are "52.16.85.139" or "34.255.61.232".
4th Dec Update:
Not only am I seeing the Banned error again, with new ip addresses, I'm also not able to use my main vpn country as a workaround.
New banned IPs:
3.126.25.160
18.157.131.187
But none of these IPs belong to me, nor my VPN.
I've emailed developer, and sent them the screenshot they requested.
Edit: Re-organised and updated my original post.
Please post the full message. It's likely you're banned from Cloudflare as that's what now caches our website.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
The full message would just include my ip address. I don't want to broadcast it to the world by posting it in this message, can I DM it to you somehow?
Please take a screenshot and sent it to our developer's address on the Contact page in About. Erase your IP from it before sending if you'd like.

I just realised the ip addresses being blocked are not mine, and they alternate on separate browsers;
IP addresses are;
52.16.85.139
34.248.174.237
Edge doesn't have dodgy add-ons.
The error also occurs on 2 different browsers on my smartphone using my cell network internet, so that rules out my home internet connection too.
Tried with no VPN on either of my devices.
Same here.
Sorry, 34.248.174.237 has been banned.
Sorry, 52.16.85.139 has been banned.
Sorry, 34.255.61.232 has been banned.
I've emailed developer asking for investigation.
Obviously just at the moment, I'm able to access the forums to ask this
Ok, I figured out it was due to old IP blocking within Drupal itself from some spam and DDoS attacks from years ago. Some of them are now used by our new ad provider and were then cached by CloudFlare. I've cleared out all the old blocks, rebuilt the site's internal Drupal cache, and turned CloudFlare off and then on again within our ad provider. This should clear everything out. It may take a little bit for it all to cycle through CloudFlare. Thanks everyone for reporting it. And please let me know if it starts working for you again consistently.

Awesome!
Yes, it seems to be working on all devices now.
Will report if the issue returns.
Happy Holidays John!!

Thanks John. I find this interweb thingy stuff confusing nowadays.
Sorry, 18.157.105.182 has been banned.
Also Sorry, 3.126.25.160 has been banned.
I used now NordVPN services with option Canada, where portableapps.com is avaible, and can see the site and forum too.
Hi, I also got no connect, with the same IP as PRF-Portable, but also with the 34.255.61.232.
Neither we're my actual IPs, even the usage of a VPN didn't help (Finland, France, Netherlands) till I switched to Czech Republic.
It looks like something more complex than an old IP caching, sorry.
I had the same problem the last 3 to 4 days, banned IP. This wasn't just for the forum but also for downloading Portable Apps.
Seems fix, in both cases now. Hope for the best I suppose.
Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.
It looks like CloudFlare is still caching the older pages before I fixed it. I've disabled CloudFlare for now. It'll take a bit for it to change cache and IP wise.

respons:
Sorry, 3.126.25.160 has been banned.
but this is not my IP.
Only access with vpn.
Please help.
---sorry for bad english---
05/12/2023 everything is good
This should finally be fully fixed. It was due to the Druapl login security module. Since everyone is now coming to the site via a set of IP addresses, whenever an issue was detected and blocked, it affected everyone. I've reconfigured things and it should be working better. Sorry for the issues.

Thanks again!
