As I rely on bitwarden for remembering my assorted list of passwords I think it would be beneficial not only for me but other portableapp users to be able to utilize this open source password manager .

But you could install the browser extension in one of our portable browsers.
Hi,
As I'm still learning my way around on the use of portableapps I think your suggestion is a very useful and pliable one, thanks so much for suggesting that. As I have the google chrome browser installed as one of my chosen portable apps, when I signed into my google account and started syncing my information bitwarden had been used previously so it was already included in my list of installed extensions. I've already discovered that I'm enjoying the use of the portableapps platform quite a bit, I have the application installed on a 128 GB thumb drive which makes my installation what I consider to be a true portable installation. As far as the google chrome browser is concerned while using the portableapps version, I've already discovered that the browser version can't be updated in the normal manner because I receive the prompt that states "Your Browser Is Managed By Your Organization"
As well as an error message: (error code 1: 0X80004005)
I'm glad running it as a browser extension works for you.
As for your error, it is nothing from our portable bits. It is a known Chrome issue, and could be caused by a number of different things.....
Are you using it on a work computer? That would explain it, and isn't something you can change.
Do you have any other extensions installed? That message could be caused by a bad extension.
Ken,
First of all & before I forget due to my memory not being what it once was I'm really appreciative of your time & efforts in trying to address my concerns. The great thing about the portableapps platform is just like the app title implies the apps that users decide to install & use are indeed 'portable', especially if you have the platform installed on a usb thumb drive like I do, with supposedly nothing getting permanently installed on a users computer except for the executable file to install the portableapps platform in the first place. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year !!
Sincerely,
David W
Thanks, David.
Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you too.
Ken Herbert,
I just wanted to let you know from the depth of my heart as to how disheartened I am about the war that's going on with russia, I pray every day that a lasting peace will come as soon as possible. Since I'm a believer in GOD I know in my heart that he's in control of the world that he created, and when he's had enough of all the wars & crime & hatred that's been going on for a long time he'll send his son JESUS back to earth again to make things right again. I tried sending you a direct message through the portableapps.com forums but evidently it's not possible, I just wanted to get your opinion about an issue concerning why I'm currently unable to get wireless usb debugging enabled on my lg velvet 5g android phone that's currently running version 12 of the android o.s. . I've already tried turning on airplane mode for at least 30 seconds and then back off, I already have developer options enabled as well as usb debugging turned on. And of course I'll understand as well as respect your decision if you elect not to respond back to me concerning my issue.
David W.
Don' think I can help you sorry.
Maybe 10 years ago when I was actively developing for Android I could have helped, but these days I'm very out of the loop. Anything I would try would basically just be guesswork.
