With last two updates portable Google Chrome started lagging.
Can't use it because of very slow work. App always hangs for some time.
Used portable Google Chrome for few years and never had such issue.
Tried clean setup of app but no luck.
Is it me or something broken in portable app?
Currently using:
Windows 10 Pro x64, 22H2, 19045.3693
Portable Google Chrome 120.0.6099.71

There are no changes in the portable app. The launcher hasn't been altered since Feb 9, 2023. Make sure you're running from an appropriately fast drive (not just a "usb 3.0" flash drive). Also try out Firefox which will have better performance and is fully portable.

Using it from SSD drive connected over USB 3.0.
Also tried to run it from internal PC SSD, but same issue.
I'm already using Firefox and it's working fine.
Using Chrome for work (needed extension only available for Chrome). It was working without issues for a long time, but started lagging after the last two updates.
Interesting thing.
Started same Portable Google Chrome on my home PC with Windows 11 23H2 22631.2792, and it's working fine.
Probably something breaks it on my work PC. But it is really strange, because nothing changed on it, only updated portable app to latest version.
Google Chrome is affected by entries in the HKLM registry (admin rights) that also affect the portable version. This is by design of the publisher. You could check to see if some are set on your work PC.

I never installed Google Chrome on my work PC, so there shouldn't be something that affecting portable app from that side.
Installed all Windows updates, updated drivers, but no luck. Also tried to disable hardware acceleration in app.
Then I remembered about test 64-bit version.
Installed test 64-bit version and it's working fine.
Don't know what is wrong, but 32-bit version freezing on my PC and 64-bit version working good.
