Midori Light, Safe & Private Web Browser

Midori is a browser that has been characterized by its light consumption of resources, fast and private, since it respects the privacy of users. I feel that it is a great browser that should be in PortableApps since it will allow more users to enjoy a Light and fast navigation in addition to protecting privacy.

It is feature-rich and uses Firefox/Gecko as a base for a market saturated with Chromium-based browsers.

Outdated Firefox ESR

Looks like it's built on an outdated version of the Firefox ESR branch with known security issues at the moment. The website also has fake contact info right at the top which doesn't inspire confidence.

That's right, they use ESR as a base but they have already updated to the latest version and are in the process of updating, on the other hand the browser and the website have appeared on very relevant websites.

Not Updated

They're in the process of updating to Firefox ESR 115.7.0 (released on Jan 23) but their current release is based on 115.6.0. It appears to be English only currently, but I can't be sure as the 64-bit local stub installer fails on start on a clean Windows 10 machine.

Hey men, I guess it's normal,

Hey men, I guess it's normal, the last update of Midori is on December 15, it's normal that there is a delay, when there is a Chromium update, browsers based on it take a while to implement the updates, it's a very normal procedure, I think it's An excellent program and it should be in portableapps. We can also help in its construction by reporting errors.
