Lagrange portable appears to run, I see its icon in the task bar, but its window isn't displayed onscreen (only one screen). I suspect that I once opened it in a multi-monitor environment, and I don't know how to force it to move back to the main screen. Any ideas?
I suppose I *could* just uninstall it then reinstall which should get rid of any config settings it has saved... but that's the annoying possible way to fix it
The prefs.cfg file within LagrangePortable\Data\userdata appears to store your window location. So you could edit or delete that. You can also move an off-screen window by clicking it in the taskbar and then holding down the Windows key and pressing the left or right arrow keys. Then drag the app by the title bar to reposition.

I poked around and actually found that file before I saw your reply. I edited it, changing the window size and coordinates and it worked.
As for the Windows trick, do you mean Shift-Win-left or right? I know that moves a window to the left or right monitor.

Windows Left will push a given window to the side of the current screen. If you only have one screen, it should push it from offscreen to the left side of your main screen. Adding shift causes it to move monitors.

Thanks for the explanation, I didn't know that one. Of course, there are *lots* of Windows hot-keys

You're welcome. I just learned that particular one, too, while searching for how to get a window back on the screen
