Firefox Portable and Firewall

Hello,
I'm using Firefox Portable and I would like to block this portable Firefox only on certain websites. I tried to use the Windows firewall but it seems like it doesn't work with portable applications. Why is that? Do you have any ideas? Thank you for your help.

Manual Entry to Proper EXE

If you're using Firefox stable on Windows 64-bit, you'd be using the 64-bit copy of Firefox within Firefox Portable. That exists at X:\PathTo\FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox64\firefox.exe. Substitute your own full path for X:\PathTo. You can manually create rules for a Program at that path and they should work.

Yes, that's what I did. I pointed the late Windows father to firefox.exe in c:\app\FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox64\firefox.exe. But it doesn't work, and I don't understand why.

Should Work

That should work. At least in theory. Are you trying out a block statement rather than just allow? Also, remember that Firefox uses its own internal DNS so won't use the system's DNS.

Thank you for your help, I

Thank you for your help, I found another solution by blocking access to a website through my company's antivirus. Thanks again to you.
