So can't find the answer I am looking for.
When I load PA the box comes up to update the platform.
I click and the message comes up to close all instances.
If I close all instances (Portable Apps) then the box to update also closes!!!!
What am I doing wrong?

What app are you trying to close? The PA.c Platform should check and realize it has an update on launch. Selecting to install it should automatically close the update window and the PA.c Menu, run the installer to update, and then have the platform come back. Are you running multiple instances of the PA.c Platform at the same time?
