Hello all,
I have added few application (some of them written by me) to the PortableApps directory. Is there any way that I can control which applications show up in the menu?
For example I'm using Opera@USB. The problem is that there are a couple of exe files in the directory and the menu picks all of them up. Is there a config file that can be put in the app directory that can specify what should be obtained and what not?
Another helpful thing would be if one could configure the name of the application via same configuration file.
Thank you in advance.
We are all eagerly expecting these options to be added in the next version.

John will be adding it in a up-and-coming version.
On that note, he still hasn't emailed me back

maybe I'd take one of these (legal?;-)) mail bomb proggys and write you one mail for each time you reminded him.

But on that note, please don't remind me about emails, especially if it's been only a few days. I know. I just have too many of em. Current email messages awaiting a response from me: 547 across 5 email accounts. And these are actual emails to me or contact@, not mailing lists or spam.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I can't remember how long ago it was.
BTW, you need a secretary or something

Thanks for the replies
Any idea when new version will be release (or maybe at least the ballbark)
Its sort of "Company Policy" here that no release dates are given.
We all like surprises...;-)

Alrighty
John takes the Steve Jobs approach and says "By the way, here it is" rather than the Bill Gates approach saying "It'll be ready next week" every week.

I think he was doing a conference on something and he said "oh, and by the way, here's the iPhone"
