Help me to make my software portable

Dear Sir

I hope this email finds you well.

We're reaching out because we've encountered an issue with our app's compatibility. Some users are reporting that the application fails to run due to missing DLL files (msvcp140.dll and vcruntime140.dll).

To address this problem, we're interested in exploring the possibility of converting our software into a portable application. This would eliminate the need for users to install additional dependencies and make the app more accessible.

Would you be able to assist us with this conversion process? We're happy to provide you with a copy of our software for evaluation.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Chris

Include The Files

You can include those files with your app. Place them in the same folder as your EXE and it should use them automatically. Lots of apps do this for even local installs (Firefox, for example) so you don't need to worry about whether or not the appropriate VC runtime is installed.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Oh, that is interesting as I

Oh, that is interesting as I try to find out if and what is the difference between installed portable app and a portable app.
I found both apps,
one says there is a portable installer or semthing in the exe file the other says:
'Installed version can be launched in "portable" mode as well'.
I'm not sure if both methods are really portable and not touching the system.
Does anyone know for sure what the both methods are working like and what's the outcome / result?
I'm not sure if it was the same app just changed the method by anyway, help appreciated!
Thanx in advance!

i help where i can! maybe you can help (me) too! see in my account under 'track' for my conservations/threads. be nice!
if you don't want to help, don't post crap!
