hi john, please provide a calendar app!

Hi John,
need really badly get forward with a portable calendar.
it's a very great one. don't know a better one for free and also for developers / projects.
read also something about checklists. sounds even greater!
i'm only not sure if there could be problems with different java versions.
works with java portable.
not sure if read somewhere for this app that's easy to portabilize and/or was it semi portable start.
i'm open for other app proposals.
thanx!
p.s.: modern multi messenger less important and kanban even lesser at the moment.

help were i can. maybe you can help me too. threads in account/track.

regarding calendar

sure there might be calendar apps around, but in the current world such functions are usually included in mail client programs, as this makes the use easy. To create and distribute calendar events, one needs an email software somehow associated anyway, so this is why only very few people would use a stand alone calendar I think.

not only phone matter

Yes, people today use all sorts of data on their phones. The advantage might be that all data is synchronized over all devices.
However also when working with desktop system only, a stand alone calendar can be done, but of very reduced value. Entries need to be passed to other correspondence partners, data generally found in address book need to be included (often birthday etc) and all this needs to kept up to date.
Therefore often there is not only need for email associated, but also other communication channels to transport data in generic format.
Therefore stand alone calendar are not mainstream software.

You can find useful calendar for example in Thunderbird Portable here.

BTW:
just to make you understand comments by other users here, try to read your last post here. It is just words without any continuity, very difficult to understand. I would suggest you try to write whole sentences with beginning and end. We all know that not everybody can write correctly in English, most of us are not native English speakers, but still we try to make post so understandable as we can. And if all does not work, one can still use any of the online translators.

meant this thread...

understand (EDIT, will try to write more clear/understandable)
just wanted to say i will try to get to a cheap android phone to have it in pocket / by me.
i just need timer, appointments and simple expences monitoring, which should do a cheap android phone.

sorry, for understanding, i mean the post 'try to resolve portable issues by smartphone'.
look for android phone, 50-100 bucks.
maybe i should try to choose first a manufacturer to tighten the amount of devices.
thanx

Errare humanum est, perseverare diabolicum

Acting like this & ignoring people's remarks won't help you. Just hibernate, maybe 'some' people will forget your spam!

PS. In fora, people write like books, using paragraphs. Not like contemporary messaging apps, typing 0D instead of 002C, and talking like Dr. Daniel P. Schreber.
