Is it possible to embed such a encryption into the portable firefox so that the host system is not needed to make a secure connection!?
e.g. Win 98/NT need the High Encryption Pack installed so the portable firefox can use the 128-bit enryption.
or if this is not possible is there a stand-alone secure application which can used for example on a usb stick which also contains the portable firefox and give him the possibility to make such a secure conection?
Firefox itself requires those libraries. Of course, Windows 95 and NT don't support USB anyway.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
ok Win NT was not a good example, but Win 98 is affected! You mean that this libraries cannot used for stand-alone applications and has to be installed on the host system!?
Unless you can figure out the DLLs, pry em out and drop em into the firefox.exe directory and they happen to work. If Firefox relies on the OS for the high encryption and the OS doesn't have said files, you're out of luck.
