When trying to mount a file, getting the following error :
Incorrect Parameter.

When reinstalling version 1.26.7, it works well again. Seems to be connected with the new version.
Thanks.

Confirm. Such a nuisance happened today. Renewal is evil. (Sometimes)
The title says 'VeraCrypt Portable'! DId you try the non .paf version ( or from the publisher) if it has the same bug?
If True, then it's not related to the portablization process!

There is no such thing in the original portable version. Even if you doin clean install the version from the portableapps everything is fine. The bug appears after updating from the old version to a new one. veracrypt-x64.sys. I see Veracrypt-X64.Sys source of the problem. He could not be removed for a while. Those. For some reason, it received the rights above the administrator (or was in use). I had to remove it in a "safe mode". However, now it seems to be normal. VERACRYPT works as before. And it can be unloaded from memory, and has the opportunity for deinstal.
I also experienced this with v1.26.15, so I rolled back to v1.26.7.
It's a known issue with Veracrypt portable, but we'll have to wait until the next update for a patch. The solution proposed in the link below didn't work for me.
"...avoid using different versions of portable mode in the same Windows session. Always reboot your system when switching to a different portable version..."
