If I click Legacy Download: Windows 32-bit: 7.14.2 on https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/boinc-portable#download_details it goes to a page that doesn't exist: [link removed]
I did search for the file using Google and found it on https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/BOINC%20Portable/
I installed that file in Windows XP and the installation in PortableApps went well, but when I try to run it I get an error about an .ini file not found. It doesn't work out of the box. I could start it by double clicking another .exe file in the BOINCPortableLegacyx86 subfolder, but that is too difficult for most people. I think the download and the .ini file problems should be fixed so that more people with Windows XP 32-bit and PortableApps could get started with BOINC and help Science. The ini file problem seems to be in:
PortableApps\BOINCPortableLegacyx86\App\AppInfo\Launcher
For other legacy downloads I believe they are their own apps and not a sub download for the non legacy download.
I use and Eee PC 1001HA with Microsoft Windows XP Home x86 Edition, Service Pack 3, (05.01.2600.00). The CPU is GenuineIntel Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz [Family 6 Model 28 Stepping 2] (2 processors). It is useful with BOINC and run last month:

I fixed the link on the BOINC Portable homepage. Thanks for the heads up.
