'English' selected as ocr language and downloaded.
Whether or not ocr is conducted pre-emptively I always see a File Not Found error for a temporary .hocr file when ocr attempted.
Example filename: D:\PortableApps\NAPS2Portable\App\NAPS2\Data\temp\oj2ozgxl.blc.hocr so not extravagantly deep.
That 'temp' directory exists when NAPS2 is running but contains only a .jpg file when ocr is attempted.
I have at some time run v6.1.2 (portable) on this machine without any such problem.
A clue would be appreciated as I obviously don't have one.
Yeah, that's not deep enough it would normally cause an issue. Would you please try a temporary fresh install to your Desktop directory by downloading the installer directly from our site? That will eliminate settings, drive, and path issues from our troubleshooting list.
