I kept getting this error:
Google Chrome Portable | PortableApps.com Installer

The installer was unable to download Google Chrome (Stable). The installation of the portable app will be incomplete without it. Please try installing again. (ERROR: Reget Error)
It wasn't until I played peek-a-boo by switching back-and forth while it was downloading Chrome did it finally fully download and the install of Chrome 135 portable was successful. This was an issue a week or two ago.
Is this an ongoing issue? What would cause an active download to just stop if there is nothing wrong with the Internet connection?

It downloads it directly from Google and has nothing to do with any of our stuff. It's using your Windows internet components to handle that download.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
