Hi ppl!
I have problem with Firefox portable while saving images from the net. While surfing, when I choose to open image in full and it loads in the screen completely, then I choose "save image as" on it, Firefox portable sends it in downloads so I have to wait for image to get downloaded again! (in normal Firefox, when full image is loaded completely, choosing "save as" will save it to chosen location instantly because the image is already downloaded in Firefox's cache)
This a problem because images are usually larger than 500kb so downloading them again is waste of valuable time and surfing speed
Please, any advice?
Turn the cache on via Tools » Options » Privacy » Remember visited pages for the last __ days

Thanks for advice, but it is already turned on (I've set it to remember last visited pages for 15 days). Any other advice?
Are you sure you didn't set the history to remember the last 15 days? Cache isn't set to remember things by days, but uses a disk space limit.

bahamut, thank you very much! that was the problem. It seams that cache is set to 0mb by default (cause I havent touched this after instaling portable FF on my stick)
Another question:
Where is a location of portableFF's cache? Is it in "Documents and settings" on hard drive or is it on stick on whicih pFF is installed?(An if ti is on stigk, where exactly on stick)
I think the cache is in the ram.

actually, I've found out that the cache can be set where you want it to be, and on pFF (if the cache is turned on) it is by default set to be on installed usb memory stick
you just have to tipe "about:cache" into the FF's adress bar to see and set your desired location
Apparently this is a bug in firefox,
I have noticed it on the "normal" version 2.0.0.1 and 2.0.0.2 that I can remember.
There is a plugin on the mozilla site to save the images from the cache.
Although it doesn't work very well, sometimes it says theres no images, and it forces a default directory you can't over-ride in the save dialog(you have to change it each time in the settings).
You probably notice it more on the portable version as it runs a little slower from the usb drive.

well, I don't have that problem with normal FF, only on portable version (they both are v2.0.0.2)
