Admittedly, I don't really know what the heck I'm doing with the Electron stuff. i.e. the
.application
directories that are created in the User directory. I know it has something to do with the magic of the [FileWrite] stuff, and Environment Variables, etc... but I can't really find a clear explanation anywhere on how to navigate this. If anybody has any information on how to find these variables easily, I think it would be a great benefit to the community and my future help with portablizing things. I have a bunch of probably useless code in the package if anyone wants to tell me what is wrong with that also, that would be helpful. Was kind of just copy-pasting things from Arduino and other similar apps.so this is md not db branch?
lol
your non-answer that you don't know what that is?
As there is no differentiation on the official download page, I think it is nothing to bother in a - more or less - widespread dev test release. The original release page does not either...
- kind of sorry, I overread some information -
as it is somewhat hidden in the forums and roadmaps, the db version as the next iteration is only alpha status for now so I think, what peppernrino included in his package this ist not the db branch. But I did not test, as I am not interested. If you are, feel free to find out by yourself.
Go back to Bluesky with that juvenile mentality. Friggin yikes, brother.
If you can't tell what version it is without asking, it is you who is confused.
The "lol" was pointed at your idea of contribution being berating and attempting to belittle people that daily accomplish things you can barely comprehend. But, that is the way of the internet now sadly. I feel you, and a few others, are basically just open source stream snipers. Half the time, I feel like I'm answering questions from bots. This question, although seemingly innocuous, is part of a set of lines of questioning that you have to know is annoying. If you didn't know., Now you do. Please adjust your sails accordingly. Thank you.
A valuable reply would be something like guiding me through the management of the Electron nonsense, as I was asking for that. Tasking me to answer questions you should be able to figure out yourself, is inane and just no. lol
Big ups again to depp.jones for being able to infer things on their own.
For the record, I never release development branch unless that is the current state of the official app. i.e. some apps seem to be in perpetual alpha/beta state, but are perfectly functional.
english is not your first language so i'll spot you some slack in your hysterical and passive-aggressive responses. I've seen this pointed out to you by others in the past. and you still continue. You seem like a smart guy, so im just trying to help you - but just know that this kind of attitude is decreasing the responses and collaboration you'll get from other people here, whether that's what you intend, or not. But keep up the good work with Logseq. Nobody else is trying but you, so I'm sure many people appreciate your attempts on a paf. I've seen many on logseq's discord say that even though it's alpha, it's faily stable, and quite powerful (the db branch) https://github.com/logseq/logseq/actions/workflows/build-desktop-release...
What you just said... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
At no point -in your rambling, incoherent response- were you close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Joined in February. Literally no contributions except nay-saying and foolery like this. References my altercation with some other unstable person as evidence for his view and treatment of me. What?
"it's obvious that English isn't your first language" - proceeds to concoct some run-on 5th Grade reading level paragraph full of... well... displays of their own inadequacy. I'm not sorry you feel like you don't belong.
You ARE the problem with open source. Hands down. This will be the last time I respond to anything you say. Pacem, goof.
Look at me, fighting with some random 14 year old. Lolol. F off, kid. Go do something useful.
