Chrome portable, not truly portable?

l am using my bank's website, and each time l click remember me, it doesn't remember me and requires me to go through stringent verification. This probably means that chrome, and other portable browsers are deleting my cookies and other history. lf it's portable, why can't l continue where l left off, even if on different computers? lf it's truly portable, shouldn't everything move along with me?

Check settings...

You may want to check your Chrome settings in the computer you're using, however; if you're using Chrome on multiple devices you may want to know the following, which is stated at the Features sub-title within the Chrome Portable page:

Passwords Not Saved Between PCs: Google Chrome stores passwords in such a way that they are encrypted in a way tied to current PC. While the passwords are not kept or left behind on the PC itself, they won't be retrievable when you move to a new PC.

All Chromium Browsers are NOT Fully portable

You may search using the right keywords. Here is a sample search result.

Fingerprinting

Financial sites don't just use your saved password, cookies, and web storage to 'remember' you. They also fingerprint your PC. They use things like browser version, OS version, window size, screen resolution, color depth, IP address, and more to make a fingerprint of your current login. If you move a portable browser to another PC, even though all your cookies and such stay the same, your fingerprint changes and you'll need to re-verify yourself. This is by design by those websites and not something we have control over.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
