I used the webmail extension with hotmail. worked perfectly before. but now, when I try to send a mail a window pops up with me having to write the password to username@domain.
edit: it works to get messages from my hotmail account but I can't send mail's.

this not a complete explanation but if this was recent (in the past week)then this has no relevence. Microsoft changed some coding and now uses javascript or tabs (I cannot remember)

ensure you have Hotmail website (BETA) selected in Hotmail's mode settings.
