Firefox Portable 1.5 and DJVU plug in

Hello everybody,

I try to use the DJVU plugin with Portable Firefox 1.5... without any success Sad
It work with Firefox installed on my computer. I copied the "profile directory" from the computer to the PQI key but it doesn't work.

Does someone have an idea ?

TIA

Yves

Firefox Portable 1.5 and DJVU plug in

Short answer :
"It should be easy to do. You simply need to have the djvu
plugin dll in firefox's plugins directory."
Credit :
I've been looking to get a stand alone version of the LizardTech DjVu viewer (for use in certain Windows environments where you can't install software), so I stumbled on your question, quoted it in a mail to the friendly webmaster aT dejavu.org, the gentleman (http://yann.lecun.com/) gave me the above answer.
(So now I will use Firefox+DjVuPlugin instead of waiting for a Portable Version of the stand alone viewer : on http://www.lizardtech.com/download/dl_options.php?page=viewers it says "The DjVu Browser Plug-in is the primary means of viewing DjVu documents. It runs inside most modern browsers including IE, Firefox and Safari.").
Keep us posted!

It's what I tried... but

It's what I tried... but it's only worked on computer with DJVU plugin already installed Sad When I tried on a computer without any installation of DJVU, it's failed.

I copied all the profile of my local Firefox to the usb key... no change.

Fortunately, I found " WinDjView" wich is a small executable (500 KB) wich read DJVU files.

If you found another solution, I'm interested !
