SumatraPDFPortable

ok guys this is my own test release for sumatrapdf reader (John Haller I only used this app to test out my latest revision to my portable app script in hopes that I can improve upon my SWORDPortable (I'm not trying to put my apps before your's john because I picked this app for the above reason and the fact it is also small and which makes it easy for me to upload on a 40 kpbs dialup connection(Actually I finally got SWORDPortable to save settings but it won't launch from the portable apps menu quite yet)) anyways the link to SumatraPDF is here
also this is paf compliant and settings are saved to the data folder as part of my modifications for the app when it's done executing

Updated to Version 1.0.0.1 and SumatraPDF Version 0.5 Download
Hopefully for the next release I'll be able to switch from nsis to c or C++ as an experiment or even use delphi (But thats still at Drawing Board stages :))
The idea about a new wrapper was given by m2 Thanks for the inspiration and I hope to use the idea very soon (as soon as I get the functions figured so for now I stick with nsis)

Oops

Opps for the Shortname. I guess I missed that

yes I am aware of 0.5 but I had 0.4 to work with

and yes I noticed that at times either it is the launcher moving the prefs or just the app. either way I still have tweaking left to do. Thanks for notifying me m2. If there are anymore bugs/mistakes that are foreseable just post them here. Anything that can help me out is great and hopefully bring me one step closer to make SWORDPortable better as well

I have one recommendation. I

I have one recommendation. I don't think you'll follow it, but it should be said.
Tweaking won't make significant difference. As long as you stay with NSIS, it will be slow. Most compiled languages (I mean really compiled, not embed to exe like AHK / AutoIt / .. NSIS). Such simple thing can be written in C. It would do it's job probably c.a. 20 times faster. Programs that don't work with files it can easily get 1000 times faster when written in C, compared to scripts.
