Halo

Dont know who here likes halo, and before you people start saying its a commercial product I got something to say. The only game you got up there at the moment is very old and frankly not ammusing (sorry for thoughs people that like it) Oh and secondly I am talkin about Halo Custom Edition which is free (well for the program). I was wondering if it could be made portable..... like ever! If you can is it also possible to put up a "disk image" of halo for Alchohol 120%..... saddly enough my brother was using it and well scratched the shit outa it, THEN tried to use it as a frisbie, none the less i need a image of it to burn. (You can get halo custom edition at download.com)
(and a friend gave me Alchohol 120% which i have the serial number for it) [I also go tgame jack hehe need a serial number for that, not askin for one]

{Oh and also as long as anything has a product key like if windows vista required a product key from my knowledge it should be safe to make portable because of the fact you still need to buy it, not trying to change your mind or anything}

(Also just wondering here, I got Alchohal 120% it a cd imager and puts a dvd cd rom image drive on your computer, is that possible to change so the immage drive goes to your hard drive or flash drive, thus making it portable?)

Thank You /\

No...

Sadly, Halo Custom Edition is NOT free, you need to have a Halo CD key to play as well as the Halo CD itself. Also, Halo Custom Edition takes up 700MB of space with no maps, with a decent number of maps, it would take up well over a GB of memory. Also, I'm sure John will agree with me when I say that any sort of illegal activity, pirating, or software "sharing" is not supported within the PortableApps community.
Here the focus is on making open-source (the source code is freely available) applications portable.

not really

Halo Csutom Edition is a halo version no tsupported by bungi and is a third party program! Yes you do eed halo cd and the serial number but to downlaod is still free and beign a third party program it should have no strings attached meaning making it portable besides the serial code and cd required would not be pirating. Also flash drives go over 1 gb I got a 4gb it was about 80 to 100 dollars.

(but i see where yoru commin from)

To Shadowwolfe

@Shadowwolfe:

You might wanna remove that link or John and friends might ban you for linking to illegal software. We don't wanna get a reputation at Paaps for its users linking to illegal stuff.

Also John does not want U3 promotion here either, I think...

In addition please do no perform more threadomancing...
