Hey man

I know how to fix, but need Haller's help:

Make (255,0,254) colour transparent too, not only (255,0,255) Smile

Can't

You can only set one color as transparent. And 255,0,255 is the standard.

That's why there are two images used right now. The JPG for the overall image and the BMP for areas that need transparency. You can, of course, use a 1 px JPG and then a full-size BMP and select exactly what you want transparent.

There is no way at all that I know of within Delphi to do alpha transparency to the desktop. Even if you use PNGs and one of the libraries.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Not sure

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do there, but if you zip the files up and put up a link here I'll download them and take a look maybe I can help.

Ahhh....

The downside of transparency...it's not transparent, there's just nothing there at all, you miss the spot your trying to click and hit a "transparent" spot, it's like clicking the Window or desktop below it, so it puts the PAM back in the System Tray.
