I use pspad as my main text/programmers editor and am very happy with it. On a whim I copied the install directory to my USB drive and now am able to use pspad at work. I've found no issues with it in portable mode.

The thing I like about it is its FTP editing support. Although a bit buggy, it suites its needs.

Ran into a big gottcha with PsPad macros: can't use the find command in a macro. I want to edit a file with over 400 occurances of a particular string and modify each line with that string.
I've never used the macros before, I should check them out!
