non-portable apps format portable programs

I have several self contained small apps that are not in the protable app format and cannot be installed inthe portable app list on my thumb drive. I tried changing the name of the MUSIC folder so I could put them there and have access to the from that folder. However, although the MUSIC folder name is changed, it still appears on the menu as MUSIC. I can still put them there, but I'd prefer having the folder in the menu reflect the actual contents. How can I get the menu folder MUSIC changed or better yet, a long shot, is there any way to convert the prograqm so it can be installed as a regular portable app.

You can...

Try changing the words just how the language is changed, I believe the file is called locale, I'm sure somebody else can link you to that and explain it to you.

BUT...

Have you tried the Apps on with the menu. Cause it's designed so almost any non PAF portable program(some non-portable) programs will work on it.

Move your apps

Just move them to the correct location and they'll show up:

Thanks, I had actually tried all these suggestion and then some. After the first two replies I tried them all again with another app. It appeared in the menu list but would not complete launching. I tried a third program and it worked fine. Ill just keep the other ones in the documents folder and run them from there. Thanks for the help

New portable apps

Normally I use FastStone Image Viewer and FastStone Capture, two free usefull apps, installed in my HD, the last update I found portable versions for both of them and installed without problems into Portable Apps. Menu. Besides, I found in Internet warez a portable version of Nero v.7.7.5.1 of about 11MB installer but hasn't .paf.exe extension and couldn't install in P.A.M. As this version works fine and does what all of us want that is record CD/DVD/Image management, etc. I'm using in my PC actually, maybe could be a nice solution. I have installers of three apps and can send to you if you like, just tell me how and where.

As above

It doesn't have to be a PAF to work with PAM. You just need to install it to the right location:
