Hey all... I'm working on a general portable app instruction set that's common to all apps. It'll make things easier on our translators (rather than translating it on every app support page). So, I'd love to hear any thoughts on this:

Seems complete and simple to me...
Have you found time to read any emails yet? *looks hopeful, but backs away just in case*

Appearently he hasn't yet. Give him time. He has bills and stuff to do.

In the section "General Support Guidelines for Most Portable Apps" you say:
If none of them do, and you can't fine the information in a search...
I suppose the fine should be replaced with "find"
sblandin
PS. Where we can place the localisation of these instructions?
Got that one.
I'm still setting up the pages for the localization teams.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
and congratulations for having the good idea of putting all the info on one page. Its so much easier than answering it for every app again.

Very good, but there are a few typos that you should fix before it is linked. Another good idea, John.

I need to know about typos, grammar or suggestions for making it better. *Specifically* what are they. That's the whole reason I posted it.

In the "Using a Portable App" section:
"Stay Safe - When using portable apps, it's always a good idea to practive Safe Portable App-ing."--"practive", you probably meant practice.
Seems (I didn't see before) that slbadin took care of the other one. Anyway, very good.

I think you mean "practice"
I do that all the time, "c" and "v" are next to each other.
John, don't forget, Firefox has a spellcheck built in... that's how I found it.
I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
... if the last typo posted by solanus is fixed.
And perhaps it is a little bit better to say "an [AppName]Portable directory will be created" (in the install section) cause this will be a hint that "AppName" is only a place holder for the real name of the App and not really part of the directory string.
The German version is ready too.
Would You be so kind to set up the German Page perhaps on
https://portableapps.com/de/support/portable_app ?
Thank You John!

Good call on the [AppName]
I have this setup for Andreas to edit:

This is setup for Simeon:
https://portableapps.com/de/support/safe_portable_app-ing
And this is setup for you:
https://portableapps.com/de/support/portable_app
Any issues, post a note in the translation forums.

I'll try over the weekend.
EDIT
I love the "input format" options

Thank god it has Full HTML, I don't think I could live with only filtered and half-filtered.
