Want to be able to convert video file formats between avi, mpeg1, mpeg2, mpeg3, mp4, mov etc.... I know that there are software apps out there but one that is portable would be a great help.
As a note, I would like to be able to view movies etc... on iPod and also PSP so these file formats are quite advantagous

Well Well I just have the perfect app for you I've been working on an app called Media CoderPortable. It can do any kind of coding for you. I'll post it on friday as right now I am on a dialup connection till then but it should work and it is recommended that you have firefox installed on the computer (Will still run if not there)

something else goto Vixy.net for an online one, this is useful for turning Youtube vids to iPod vids, infact 90% of the vids on mny iPod are vids from YouTube, the service is free and opensoure, they are making an app for an offline version of it (according to their announcements).
