Unmentioned Benefit of U3

Consider this before getting rid of U3, if it applies: At my school the new security settings on the computers do not allow USB volumes to be opened... U3 overrides this measure (probably due to the CD U3 volume)

Ha!

My school is glad to have people use their flash drives! (It's better then having us send it to ourselves via E-Mail and checking our E-Mail in school right?)

In IE just type X:\ (X is the drive letter of you're flashdrive) and you can start any program you want. Blum

ha ha ha !!!! i win!!!

my school dosent allow flashdrives to be connected to my school comps but when i do it, it woks perfictly. the school comps security is pretty tight but i have found a way to alter anything i want. as long as it is connected to the computer or the school network. i got ahold of the admin's tools and there is a little glitch when we log on. since we all have network drives. the system network controller drive for every school shows up and if you click on it within like 2 seconds then you have acsess to all of the files on all school networks in my town. i just cutted and pasted shortcuts to them all. i can do anything i want! i can change my grades or turn on the bell for loke 10 minuts if i want, it doesent even have to be in my school! im thinking of sending blank pages to all of the printers hooked up just to mess with the I.T. guys.

Be Careful, doing this could be a prosecutable offense

What you are talking about is illegal, immoral, and dangerous for your future. You might want to reconsider.

Just a thought.

And I will certainly not

And I will certainly not download any apps this guy comes up with. He sounds like he thinks he's at a black hacker site where they might appreciate this sort of stuff.

Excuse me for getting the wrong idea...

Your post comes off as a malicious madman winning the lottery. you say:

i can change my grades or turn on the bell for loke 10 minuts if i want, it doesent even have to be in my school! im thinking of sending blank pages to all of the printers hooked up just to mess with the I.T. guys.

You describe penetrating a restricted government system (assuming it's a public school here) to create havoc (or at least a grand annoyance) and chaos(well, chaos may be an exaggeration but another annoyance, not to mention wasting a lot of overworked peoples time and taxpayer dollars to fix a problem that you created for the fun of it).
You talk about changing grades and ignoring restrictions that were put into place to help maintain the workflow of an already underfunded system(I assume you are in a public high school or middle school, though I could be wrong. Wink ) These forums are not looking to help people break the law, and so that is the reason for the warnings. It's good to know you were just blowing smoke, but really, not even that good.

wrong idea indeed!

i said i could, i never said i would. i am also not interested on breaking the law and besides, if they didnt want anyone to know about these certan files, they would have made them only available to the administrators. but again, i am not interested in breaking the law.
