does it, cause I would really like a comp with SUSE, I know Ubuntu is great and all but I want SUSE;s improved GNOME menu.

KDE is so frustrating, not cause of it's many configs but because it is too tacky, well than how does it compare to Kubuntu's (Ubuntu with KDE) if that helps. I use GNOME cause it has a soft and simple, and easy touch to it, KDE however is a cheap imitation of the Winblows start menu. Sorry if I offended you, I originally was a KDE guy but when I 1st used GNOME it just felt superior.
I should give SuSEs Gnome a try.
My last one was 2 years ago.

if you just search apt(via terminal, or synaptic) for gnome-main-menu, that is exactly what the "improved" menus are in gnome. You can easily get them in ubuntu, it is part of the normal repository.
However, personally, after using it for 3 days, I went back to the classic gnome. It does look pretty.......but the functionality is nowhere near as good as the looks.
I just starting dual booting xubuntu and Windows XP Pro. I choose Xubuntu cuz i only have 128megs of Ram but is there a way to switch X windows within it like KDE,Gnome,XFCE,Improved Gnome?
