Is the portable version of NSIS available? I can't seem to find it anywhere. The only link/reference I have found is to portasoft.org, which seems to no longer be in existence.

Well my NSISPortable has all the plugins needed to make portable apps or installers (If you use it the way it was originally supposed to be used).

I made a launcher for NSIS.
Launcher
After you download the launcher, download the zip archive of NSIS from their Sourceforge Project Page
extract it to the \NSISPortable\App\NSIS directory.
I have sent emails to get permission to include NSIS in the package along with the registry plugin, the findproc plugin and the newadvsplash plugin so it will work with the portableapps installer scripts. Hopefully I will get answers soon.
EDIT: I have permission from two of the plugin authors, hopefully will hear from the others soon.

Cool, but what about the extra plugins?
I couldn't find a license file in the plugin zip files.
EDIT: Never mind, I got permission from the authors except for NewAdvSplash which is just an update to the AdvSplash already included.
And I found the license file in the NSIS package.
I posted the updated file including NSIS and the plugins.

There needed to compile the launcher scripts for the apps here.

I pulled the old files from portasoft.org and made them available at http://claydiffrient.org/portasoft/
Its been quite a while since these were created and/or seen by anyone. I'll leave them up there for the next month or so. If anyone needs to get them for historical or archival purposes feel free.
UPDATE - So this is taking a bit longer on my dial up connection. I will get on high speed tomorrow and actually load them up on there. Check back in about 12-13 hours.

I got an update for my NSISPortable as version 2.24 saves it's registry no longer in HKLM/SOFTWARE/NSIS but in HKCU/Software/NSIS

First I love the Installer cause its different than the sfx-archives.
Second I love the App cause it makes smaller (40kb instead of 60kb) Apps.

My license? All I did was piece together works from others, so their licenses are the only ones that matter.
It shouldn't be leaving registry entries, try deleting the entries and rerunning it.
If their still there, check the launcher source for the HKCU registry entry if it doesn't have it redownload the package from my site, I forgot the HKCU entries in the first release.

I didn't mean license. I just didnt find any clue that you are the author of the package. And never mind the registry entries. I think I run regshot before the launcher erased the entries so they came up in the logfile.

Yea, I customized it. WinRAR actually has advanced options for that.
As for the license, I didn't see a need for one. Don't really need credit for putting the pieces together.
