hi, on the move i require encyclopedias and dict's for my studies. and a compressor - like a software to compress a 500mb file into a 1mb or lessor, without loss of data on extraction. that would be great as i have tonnes of e-books, abt 20gb, so pleassssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I don't think that kind of compressor exists. Do you have a non-portable one in mind?

would get close if the files are mainly text, otherwise if there are lots of jpg files then there is nothing (very little) you can do without compromising quality.
