coping contents/application from one drive to another

we are planning to train a large group of teacher how to use usb drives and portable apps. We want to give each teacher a drive with the programs already on them. Is their any way to do load the programs faster? We have been just coping the contents of one drive onto the next, etc.

You mean install?

You mean to install them on the drives? No, it takes a while to write all those files to the drives. Write speed is the slowest part of nearly all flash drives.

well, we have "installed"

well, we have "installed" the portable apps on one drive and then just copied it to the other drives. Copy and pasted the the contents of the drives.

Yeah

That's about as fast as it goes. You can copy the contents to a local hard drive and then to the other drives. But you're still limited to how fast the drives can right. You could try a couple at a time.
