Best Webhost?

I've been trying to find some good paid hosting for a while now, and since so many people have their own websites I thought it'd be a good place to ask for advice.

So far the best I've found (for the price+features) is DSTInternet:
http://www.dstinternet.com/premium-web-hosting.html

The sales team said I could have a Jabber-based chat server there too (something I've been wanting to do for a while). I'm not sure if I'd be able to run a TeamTalk server (yes I mean TeamTalk) but that doesn't matter really.

Any thoughts?

Jumba

I use Jumba but it's Australian only (I think).
I get pretty good prices for the amount of stuff I get and the support team are great.
Not sure about Jabber, as I use Jabber.org.au (or something).

Yep

It's a US-based server.

Dreamhost

I recommend Dreamhost. They blatantly oversell, but they will give you all the disk space/bandwidth promised if you actually use that much. Their support is great. You can even email them with a request for a phone call at a certain time. Their control panel is literally one of a kind, and they offer features you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else. (Ie. jabber on shared hosting, custom php installs, streaming server, subversion) To top it all off you can find coupons everywhere for no setup fees, free dedicated ip's, $x off yearly agreements, etc. I can even make a custom coupon for you if you want, as can any Dreamhost customer. (If you search user's signatures on the Dreamhost forums you'll find many good coupons.)

...

I've looked at DreamHost before, it was pretty good. Just had some worries about some big downtime they were having recently.

Another one I've been looking at was Host Department's NoLimit Unix plan:

Pretty good value.

Now I have looked at Jumba before (I am actually an Australian :O) but it didn't seem to have quite as good value plans as some others...

Yeh

That's one of the reasons I didn't go with DreamHost.

Jumba is a bit more pricey but they have 99% uptime and as I said, the support staff are great. You can contact them via email, VoIP, phone or live chat.

100% uptime SLA

I just descovered that DST Internet's plans actually have a 100% uptime SLA uptime now since march, which is pretty darn cool. If the sales staff are anything to go by they are quite friendly, answering my emails very fast and responding to my live chat requests fast too.

Dreamhost

I'm running on DreamHost. My dad's the developer of SOAP::Lite, so he gets the hosting free. Smile DreamHost has loads of features and it's pretty reliable, and it has downtimes not frequently at all (compared to most other services).

P.S. For those of you who don't know what SOAP::Lite is, it's the thing that Google, Yahoo, etc. run on.
