Batch files and Portable Apps Menu

I want to add my personal batch files (.bat/.cmd) to the Portable Apps menu, I like it's interface much more than Pstart. I can't add my batch files to the menu Sad Please help!!

It is possible - in a round about way

Easiest way to do this with the current release is get yourself a batch to exe compiler. That way you can just add a folder with your compiled batch file (Which will be an exe file) to the portable apps dir.

suggestions?

i've been rummaging the web, and what i found works, but is *really* ugly.

its the command built into windows at C:\windows\system32\iexpress. it is for building packages, but if you point the wizard at cygwin.bat it will use that as input. the problem is that when i put that into the portableapps directory, what i get in the apps menu is 'Microsoft Windows Operating System', not 'cygwin' like i want.

any free bat to exe converters out there that would be a little pertier?
