I think you should check the software licence before requesting, thoses are not all freeware.

Reading other Postings in Request-Forum helps ;-)

Hi Testacc,

at the mainpages of this site there is no comment of John T. Haller about freeware/open source software/ commercial software, but reading some other posts in this forum, you would know, that there are some legal issue modifing commercial software or even freeware.
If you look at John's portable applications then you will see that all are open source.

Even if the modification of commercial software (or freeware (NOT public domain software)) would be legal, the distribution of this modifications is illegal - just more if not only the changes/modifications are distributed but the whole (commercial) software packet.

I think it is better for us all if John isn't in jail so he could build other portable packages for us Wink

Winrar parts are

Actually, Winrar's command line tool is freeware. According to their site It is the only part that is. i use a .bat file to run it.

Update: I was wrong, Disregard, I bought it many years ago, but forgot. I just went and checked on it. Sorry for the confusion. Smile

. But i only use diskeeper. Win rar and uha i have made portable.
