I apologize if this question has been asked before, i only had time to skim the first few pages, and i didn't see it.
I recently found portable apps, and it is great, but i have been unable to get the thunderbird to work like i want it to. I have an IMAP email account with thunderbird on my desktop computer, i tried to setup up an account on the portable version and it would not let me log into my server. I setup a POP3 account on portable thunderbird, it worked. Tried again with an IMAP account, and it would not log into my server. Does IMAP just not work on this version? Or is there just some setting or patch/update that i missed? any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've set-up TBP w/ an IMAP email account (AOL, don't laugh) and it work fine.
on your local copy, you can just copy the settings over and it should work on Thunderbird Portable.

I was sure I had copied over the correct info, come to find out the security settings were blocking the IMAP setup, i tried it on a different network and it works great now. Thanks for the input guys.
