i love the suite john built and i use it pretty much everyday, but i recently ran into a problem. i plugged into a computer only to find the usb ports were more or less disabled. it would recognize the drive was there, but wouldnt let any files transfer or pam to start. is there and easy way to beat this, or am i sol?
show up as a folder in "My Computer"?

it showed up i believe, but i couldnt open, nor transfer data back and forth.
it was actually a laptop at my school, and the other kids complained because they couldnt save their data on a flash drive.

The computer of the office that I work blocks the USB port. Only pendrives of the office can be used. I think that it is the same problem.

This is just a wild idea but try this. If you right click the drive and select properties. then under hardware click properties, another window should pop up, at the bottom of this window there is a drop down menu that says "use this device (enabled)" or "don't use this device (disabled)" Check that it says use this device.
