How do I subscribe to a thread?
Another question: No offense intended:), but this site does seem to be a ghost town. Why is that?

subscribing: I know for some forums, if you subscribe then you can get an instant result if your forum is replied to. If you look in "My Account" (or "Your Account", however you want to look at it :)), then you'll see that you have subscriptions.
Ghost town: My forums aren't being replied to as quickly as other forums. Once again, no offense intended.

As far as I know, you can't subscirbe to threads here. And as for ghost town, sometimes, yea, you're right, but other times, things go pretty quickly around here.
Wow, I just noticed I've been a memeber for eight weeks.

Man, it seems like it's been A LOT LONGER than that.
Anyways, as far as a ghost town... yeah, it's probably not as busy as other forums, but I like that. You get to know people in a more personal level. Also, I get to read (if I want to) every post made. I've been to the Ubuntu forums and they get hundred of posts a day, and if I want to search for something, I get way too many results. So, IMO it's a good thing to be a "ghost town".

Sometimes it goes quickly, othertimes not. Usually depends on whether I'm on holidays or not

'Bout Ghost town:
Its like Patiance said, sometimes there is a lot going on, and sometimes all active people are sleeping in their beds or are at school and so there are quiet times as well.
But maybe I'll start a thread named "Knock, knock! I'm bored. Is there anyone here?"

I've noticed that things usually tend to pick up immediately after John releases an interesting new app in portable form, or after he updates one of the more popular ones. For example, when Thunderbird Portable 2.0 (final) is ready, I have a feeling that things will be a good bit busier.
