All is lost?

I've been using PortableFireFox for some time now... but today when i launch'd it all my personal data (bookmarks, saved passwords and so on) was gone... all my extensions was there but was set to default...

What happend??? i've found a backup of my bookmarks in .\Data\profile\bookmarkbackups but where can i find my passwords?

I'm using FireFox 2.0b1 and version 1.1.4.1 of the launcher...
(i use this version because it can load with no problems, when i use the local installed FireFox...

I hope there is a über geek that can help me Smile

Not Supported

That version of the launcher is quite old and is no longer supported. It's never been tested with Firefox 2.0 and may cause other issues.

I'd suggest backing up your profile, upgrading to the real Firefox Portable 2.0 Final (with the 1.4.1 launcher) and working from there. Using an old launcher with a beta version of Firefox is just a recipe for disaster.

Copy

Copy wherever your current profile is to FirefoxPortable\Data\profile in your new copy.

Profile

Sounds like a partially corrupt profile. See info on signons.txt and read the profile folder info for help in trying to reconstruct it.

This usually happens due to FF not exiting properly. This can occur if you pull your drive early.

ALWAYS make regular backups using the integrated PortableApps.com Backup utility.

Gone

In that case, your passwords are gone and you should restore from a recent backup.

And

you should definitely upgrade to the new 2003 version as it has some cool features.
See here for more info.

I use the 2.0.0.3 version

I use the 2.0.0.3 version and moev'd my profile on to it...
But all passwords is still lost and extensions setup to...

I made a bat file that does this:
delete backup003
move backup002 -> backup003
move backup001 -> backup002
make backup001 from the runtime folder
start portablefirefox in the runtime folder

So now i have backup Smile
