I made a launcher because it has multiple exe's that show up in PAM.

I've used it portably for a couple of years, and commented on it before. It is not open source although it is free, so most people here will tell you to use Notepad++ which has similar features.

My opinion is that the personal attention from Jan to his users and their needs is vastly superior to anything I've ever seen in the open source world. I've not seen the snotty attitude from him or others on his forums as is way too common here and elsewhere.
