Setup Problems

I have apparently made a mistake in setting up Portable Firefox. When I click portablefirefox.exe, I get the splash screen then nothing. I have the following directory setup:

-\PortableApps
+\PortableFirefox
+\firefox
+\profile
+\plugins
+\appdata
+\userprofile

What files should be in each folder for Portable Firefox to work?

Thanks in advance!

Redownload and unzip

The easiest thing to do is redownload and unzip. You can still keep your profile.

Still same issue

Perhaps I am doing something wrong. I am on a machine that uses Win 2k Pro and use WinZip to extract the files. I extract all the files to the USB drive and all files are extracted to the folder I select with no sub-folders created. At this point, if I click on PortableFirefox.exe I get a dialog box stating firefox.exe can not be found. I added a folder called firefox and put firefox.exe in it. At this point I get the splash screen then nothing. If I edit the .ini file to not look for the firefox folder, I get the same results.

I am obviously missing something. Should there be folders in the zipped file? Is there an additional install app that I am missing/not seeing?

Changed Winzip Setting

You've changed Winzip's settings to ignore directory structures. When you click extract, be sure "Use folder names" is checked.
