set DisableSplashScreen to true
Move the ini to the same folder as the launcher

from the FF readme.txt:
PORTABLEFIREFOX.INI CONFIGURATION
=================================
The Portable Firefox Launcher will look for an ini file called PortableFirefox.ini within its directory. If you are happy with the default options, it is not necessary, though. The INI file is formatted as follows:
[PortableFirefox]
FirefoxDirectory=firefox
ProfileDirectory=profile
PluginsDirectory=plugins
AppDataDirectory=appdata
UserProfileDirectory=userprofile
AdditionalParameters=
AllowMultipleInstances=false
SkipChromeFix=false
SkipCompregFix=false
WaitForFirefox=false
FirefoxExecutable=firefox.exe
DisableSplashScreen=true
The above options are explained in the included readme.txt.
Kind regards,
ao
hmm I thought that folders is PFF source code..
thanks again...
but it also has the advanced config info that less than 0.1% of folks use (hence the out of the wayness of it).

I changed like this
[PortableFirefox]
FirefoxDirectory=firefox
ProfileDirectory=profile
PluginsDirectory=plugins
UserProfileDirectory=userprofile
AdditionalParameters=
AllowMultipleInstances=false
SkipChromeFix=false
SkipCompregFix=false
WaitForFirefox=false
FirefoxExecutable=firefox.exe
DisableSplashScreen=true
but nothing is happen..its still showing pic..
You have to MOVE it. That INI is just a sample one in a sample location.
Both rmccue and Agent Orange both stated this right here in this post, too.

You should have it like this in the readme:
YOU MUST PUT THE INI IN THE SAME DIRECTORY AS THE LAUNCHER
----------
Remember when Pff Live didnt work for me?
That was cause I forgot to move it

It's already stated here:
"[the launcher] can be used in other directory configurations by including the PortableFirefox.ini file in the same directory as PortableFirefox.exe and configuring it as details in the INI file section below. The INI file may also be placed in a subdirectory of the directory containing PortableFirefox.exe called PortableFirefox or 2 directories deep in PortableApps\PortableFirefox or Data\PortableFirefox. All paths in the INI should remain relative to the EXE and not the INI."
And, right above the INI section in the readme.txt:
"The Portable Firefox Launcher will look for an ini file called PortableFirefox.ini within its directory. If you are happy with the default options, it is not necessary, though."
Making it CAPS won't help because people aren't bothering to actually read the readme when they are specifically told to do so. I'm adding a comment to the INI file in the next version along these lines:
"# This is a SAMPLE ini file and WILL NOT WORK from its current location. For details on how to configure it and where to place it, please read the full readme.txt in this directory"

if you are already reading it, you will notice it

It says it right as the intro to the INI section clear as day. Far more likely to be noticed as a comment in the INI (which most people edit without bothering to read the readme.txt).

What if, instead of forcing the user to read the readme, just place the directions right in the comment. If you already have a comment there, you might as well. Saves some trouble on the user's part, too.
#This is a sample INI file and WILL NOT WORK FROM ITS CURRENT LOCATION.
# To use it, you must place it in the SAME DIRECTORY as
# PortableFirefox.exe.
Notice I capitalized the entire phrase will not work from its current location. You want to emphasize that whole phrase; just emphasizing will not work is misleading.
ok.. sorry.. I didn't read..
its work now.
thank again
