I'm a newbie on PortableApps.com, so go easy on me. I have been reading a lot the last couple of days and have become a lot wiser considering portable applications although I have some blanks that still need to be filled in (for instance how to check if a portable app found on the internet is truly stealth). I have also started to try out different kind of USB menu's to see which one fits my needs.
Although I really like the design and easy to use factor from PAM I still miss some functionality like categories. I have seen this being asked on the forums quite a lot of times and everyone keeps refering to the new version that is being worked on. I however was unable to find any information about upcoming release dates and new functionalty.
So my question is, am I overlooking something or is this information not available. In the latter case I would like to suggest some sort of roadmap under the development page of PortableApps.com.
on new versions/updates of apps (Menu included) is classified. Cause if John doesn't release it the day he said he would, lots of people will start to ask questions and others get upset by things not being ready. So the only info John lets out is:
It is done when its done.
And we just learn to live with that.

Roger that!
Since posting my topic I have found out there is pretty much just one person behind the development of PortableApps.com so it's quite understandable John cant give garantees.
OK, Official Roadmap:

Directions, ie a roadmap, is not the same as a schedule, ie places and dates. The original question was where is PA headed, the answers indicate no one knows or it has no future.

I do know what a roadmap is. That's exactly where PA is headed, into making more apps.
