hi guys, I'm working on a personal thumb drive password system where, basically, its closes the window, then it opens a GUI with a input & a button, you put in the password and it goes away.
But, somehow in all of that, put in code so that if the password is wrong 3 times, it reboots the PC.
Would it be possible to do this? i know it has an obvious problem here, as you could minimize the GUI and access it like that, but would people be able to help plz?

Uhhh... AutoIT is for automation, and it's way too easy to override any security system you create with it. Plus how would you have it automatically run? The user'd have to run it himself, and if the computer were to reboot, the program wouldn't launch.
Interesting idea, but not a good way to implement it.

a lot of the people i know are pretty much complete idiots, and the autorun.ini could be setup with the autorun & the shell option.
