Would anyone be interested in this? I whipped one up last night and it works like a charm. I did use the official one though, so you will have to add your own executable in the "gnotify" directory. If there is any interest, I will have to find some way to host it, unless of course Rob wanted to host it.
@rmccue:
Take a look at this for the dev team. Just give me your email address and I'll send you the complete one. However when we host it, we will have to leave out the executable as per Google's license agreement.

Yes! Very interested!
Using Gmail with Thunderbird. Pairs nicely up with minimizetotray.

For the people that have Gmail and don't want to mess with other clients to POP it, this would be perfect. Just post here if you think that you might like it. Do remember though, you will have to get your own exe, as I can't distribute it.
@ashes- I will try to host it for you any way that I can. Until then, though, I'll hold off to see how many people want it. If its a few, I'll just email it to those that want it.

Can you post on my forums please?
BTW I dont allow attachments so use free file hosting
