I tried this one before and it kept getting corrupted. It might have been a previous release though.

well, it sure isn't GPL. You can get a little menu app for free (and pls pls pls donate), and if you want an add on that looks to be similar to Launchy, you have to contribute at least a dollar. Furthermore, the menu app won't be free forever. You're only getting it free because it's still in testing.
Functionality-wise, it seems to be exactly like PAM but without the pretty GUI. No subfolders, no note capability, etc. It does have a backup util, though.
I personally am not a fan, but that's just me.

Let's keep things polite. Nobody did anything to deserve getting their heads bitten off.
All I meant was that if you offer something for free, make it free for freeness' sake, not because you want to get free debugging out of your users.
Also, as a side note, threads here don't get deleted. Either people stop posting to them, or they get locked by John. Either way, they eventually just fade away into the archives.

I tried MyPenDrive a while ago and while it works it requires files on the host system.
In other words, for my needs it is not acceptable. I have to be able to use my USB drive on machines that are totally foreign and not leave any files behind.
