Firefox portable not as portable

It seem that when i use firefox portable, i can use it at home. But when i try using on other PC's,None of the Extensions appear in the browser. then i check the Add ons menu they are there. My plug ins and bookmarks appear though. they appear in the file where the addons kept too.Then i check the registry under;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE i see a file called HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\mozilla.org. there are 2 REG_SZ Keys. one of the key values is not set. Should i set this value? if so, what # Should i use? or should i put the key on the Flash drive? or should i delete it?

I downloaded the portable

I downloaded the portable Firefox the other day and installed it on a flash memory card. I have run it and it seems to work ok.

today, after I read your post I did a search on my Windows2000 system looking for
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\mozilla.org". And nothing was found.

And I haven't run Firefox today. (Using Opera right now). I have installed at least one extention for FireFox.

I haven't had time or the chance to try FireFox on any other machines. When i do, I'll come back here with a report.

What about

the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MOZILLA"?
My portable firefox left install data there when I updated.

This has come up on several

This has come up on several occasions, and the answer is the same. The launcher cleans up the the registry entries. Entries are made, and then deleted. It's not fair to test it while FxP is running.
