Unfortunately there is nothing I can click on to reply/add new post ...
Sorry, if that's not the best way to ask for help.
Maybe someone can give me instructions and *afterwards* this topic can be removed by an admin/mod ?

It was blocked from posting for a reason. Photoshop is not opensource, therefor not allowed on this site. It would be illegal to create a free/portable version of software that cost a couple hundred dollars.

Adobe is closed source and copyrighted though. It will not be portablized.

Launchers are legal. After all this time, I don't understand why so many people still don't have it right. Distributing Photoshop without permission is illegal. Making a launcher and distributing that is legal. You people need to learn what it is exactly that is illegal.

For Adobe, anything with the name of photoshop in it is illegal per their trademark. I stop work on portable photoshop launchers due to this trademark. Distributing the launcher it ok, that is not a problem for any software, But for adobe products, it cannot be listed anywhere as the "Launcher for Photoshop" or "Photoshop Launcher". or anything like that. Actually, they want everyone in the world to stop use it in normal language, such as "I photoshopped that" they are actually suing writers who use it this way or sending cease and decist orders. They are a little touchy.
Also, I believe they are stating above that making it and distributing it is illegal, that is why they thought it was locked or it was not able to be talked about.
Bahmut, you've been here awhile, you know how this site works, don't go after people for making a mistake, help them fix it. Meaning, Explain it to them, so they understand it, do not immediately trash them.

Most folks will use it like "Windoze" or some other perjorative.
I've heard around the wire about Apple wanting to limit the use of 'podcasts', as that is something specific to them. They want 'webcasts' to be the generic term. Which I actually agree, because I don't like how iTunes works. I'm pretty bleh on the whole iLife and Apple. I guess I don't get the big whoopdedoo.

You can see it here It specifically talks about noun and verb usage, and even shortening the name to PS... They really control their names.
I have seen articles where the writer talked about getting letters to stop using verbs such as photoshopped. For the love of me I can't find them now, I should have kept them, but oh well.
